New Jersey Boating Speed Limit
|
The feature article this time is a little
different. It is a newspaper article that addresses a speed limit issue for
boating in New
Jersey. Though it specifically applies to the New Jersey
region, boating speed limits are becoming more and more common
throughout the country and is something that has been a concern to
many of us for some time now. The following demonstrates how
by uniting together we can sometimes successfully fight these
proposals...for now. For our part, we all need to
do safety checks before every outing and boat responsibly and
respectfully around other boaters and cottagers. Please also
review Coast Guard regulations and make sure your boat conforms to
all regulations. We always need to show others that high
performance boating can be done responsibly, and not give them any
reasons for wanting to impose these speed limits, though we all
know some are never satisfied due to preconceived misconceptions. We also
need to be aware of the agencies in our areas and their attempts
to try to take it upon themselves to get these laws passed.
Thanks to Bruce Freilich for sending in the article below. |
This section
features articles written by you guys. Submit whatever you would like - as long as
it applies to HydroStreams, motors, trailers, or towing vehicles. Please send it to
me in a form where I can just insert it into this page (some kind of Word processing
document would be good). It would be a good idea to check with me first to make sure
nobody else is working on the same topic. Everyone please consider writing
an article and sharing some information that will
help out your fellow Streamers.
