Chandos Shmooz & Crooz 2000:

On Saturday, July 15th, 2000, I hosted a hot boat gathering on Chandos Lake - a very beautiful and clean lake located in Ontario, Canada.  While I worked the internet to advertise this event, my cottage neighbor Austin Plyem posted flyers around the local marinas and put out the word to local boaters on the lake to join us.  Meanwhile, my good buddy Anthony Santocono made calls to members of the Performance Boating Club of Canada.  The day was cloudy, the lake choppy, and rains came late in the afternoon, but this had its advantages as we nearly had the lake to ourselves, and the local beach where we made our base was ours as well.  A total of about 25 boats joined us during the day with no less than 15 HydroStreams.  Most people brought a friend or wife, so most of us were riding with a passenger.  I had a great time and maybe we can do it again next year.
