Included were 4-color gelcoat, deluxe color coordinated interior, carpet, dual steering, teak in-floor ski locker, bilge pump, seat swivel & slides, windshield, stowaway running lights, gunwale trim guard, and full wrap-around back seat bucket design (not shown). Optional: multiple color gelcoat, mooring cover, custom-designed color coordinated bunk trailer, anti-spin sponson insert, and blueprinted running surface.

The AE-21 was an adaptation of the HST with a noticeably different deck design. The bow area was made concave ala the Vector/Viking/Viper/etc., and the windshield shape carried over from these models as well. In fact, the AE-21 was born when one of the first HST race version boats from 1987 ended up in the hands of Canadian Edition in Canada where they splashed the hull and adapted the new deck design. The interior was also revamped to allow for more space and less cramped quarters. Like the HST, the major criticism of the AE-21 is its weight - it is on the heavy side which hurts acceleration.
