Evinrude 70HP Dies

My 70hp evinrude1993 sometimes dies to a walk while traveling along. I put it back to neutral give it a couple of revs with warm up lever and away I go. This is not regular but happens sometimes and other times I do a trip and it is fine. Would appreciate some advice on chances of it being the bulb, fuel filter or carbies.

I too, would tend to believe it is a fuel problem. Replace everything from the tank to the engine first and give it a try.
