HST Needs More Speed

RANDY I HAVE A 88 HST STOCK 260 14-1/2 34 @ 8600 RPM , 89 OCTANE AMOCO.IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN GO FASTER. I DO NOT WANT TO MODIFY THE MOTOR.I HAVE 35CC HEADS, SPORTMASTER CASE.I CAN'T TAKE ANY WEIGHT OUT OF THE BOAT. LET ME KNOW..... TX JIMMY

Not a lot of info there. If I'm reading correctly you're turning a 14 1/2 X 34 @ 8600. You'd be going 120mph already, or you are severely not hooked up. If your going 120, I need to get that boat as any HST that can go that fast with out being powered by 2 motors is something special. If your going 100 and turning that many rpms we need to find out if the prop is really a 26 as that would be about the norm. Hope it isn't just a screw up on my part reading your question.
