Hustler Hi Randy, It's been a while and I
appreciate the feedback on my problems .I took your advice and bought a
factory Mercury chopper 10.5 by 18 [$300]. It made my Hustler wake up and
fly. It would not plane off so I called Bob's Machine shop and he set me
up with a 6 inch hydraulic flats jack and transom wedges. I also had to
put a 30# lead weight in the bow. All problems solved. Believe it or not,
my little Hustler topped out at 58.7 on my GARMIN GPS and my little 70
MERC was talking to me at 5750 WOT. Perfect and hard to hang on, just how
I like it.
Brian,
