Stratos/Johnson Electrical Problem Hello
Randy, Found
your site and it’s amazing, have a small problem and
not many marinas
here in the desert to do work, History,
I Charged the system on board 3
bank (trolling 24v), 12 hours later battery dead, recharged, went fishing, started fine,
stopped, fished, not enough juice to engage the starter, change batt with
trolling, started fine, fished, stopped, tried to restart, just a spinning
sound again, changed last batt
pulled out. Went through my manual and found a few items, but not enough
to go on. 1997
Johnson V6 200 VRO 21’ Stratos, Have never had
any major problems since day 1. Check
the regulator/rectifier. I will bet it is shorted.
