Mariner 140 Timing How
do you adjust the timing on a 1979 Mariner 140 HP In-line 6 cylinder?
I believe that my motor is hard to start because it has too much timing?
I would like to retard it some... Thanks! You
can pick up a service manual for that model with complete photos, etc. to
explain it here may work, but might be misinterpreted and end up messing
up your engine. Usually they start hard with retarded timing – not the
other way around.
