Power for Mini GT-10 I have a 1986 10 foot fiberglass mini gt boat, its a great boat, (no chips or cracks in the hull), but the 1990 mercury 25 is starting to show its age, I’m looking for something with a little bit more power. Right now I’m running about 42mph on a 10 1/4 x 11 stainless steel prop. Do you have any ideas about what kind of motor/prop I could get so I could add a few digits on to that 42mph? Nik
Try
to find a nice used 40 hp for it. It is a little heavier, but be careful
and it will work.
