Motor needs Help after Storage Who can I call to get a 240 hp 1993 2.4
carb going after 10 years of storage. Allen Tucker of Supreme Marine sold
it to us & would be the very LAST source I would use. Being you are from the Minneapolis area, I guess
our shop could look at it for you. 10 years is a long time. The crank and
bearings may be rusted or corroded in the contact area. They have been
sitting in one position; the damage may already be done. Hopefully it was
"pickled" 10 years ago and the storage oil did its job.
