Nitro/Merc 90 Prop Help I
have a 1999 Nitro Bass Boat with a 12 1/2" x 23P aluminum prop (Wot)
5000-5500 rpm the boat will run 5400rpm at about 54mph. l am pleased with
the aluminum but I have damaged a new one that I just put on, I do
have a Lazer II 13 1/2" x 24" High Rake prop , that I tried and
did not like the prop it made the foot klunk at low speeds (just of
Idle) like the foot was damaged and was a dog off the line and did not
want to do well until upper speeds, I like to cruise, fish, and run fast
but running fast is not my top priority, low to mid-upper range speeds is
where I will be running, I am looking at a 13"x 22P High Five will
this still give me decent bow lift at upper speeds. Todd Todd, Randy
