Prop for Ranger/Evinrude 225 Hi
Randy Like
everyone I need a little help. I just bought a 2004 Ranger 621
Fisherman/Evinrude 225 HO. The prop that came with the rig was a
21" cyclone 4 blade. I can run 6000 rpms but only get 50 mph.
I have heard that the rpms should be kept closer to 5500 than 6000?
I believe a three blade will give me more top end? I'm leaning
toward a raker, if so what pitch should I look for to bring down the rpms.
Thanks up front for your help. Bill,
