Prop for Valero V I
have an 85 Valero V-Pad with a Merc 2.5 200 powerhead (with some
work) on a 260 midsection and a Bobs cone. I just bought the boat
today and took it to the lake. I have been reading your tech tips and you
are very knowledgeable. Here's my question.....it only ran 81.1 MPH (gps)
and I was thinking that motor should have pushed the boat a little
faster????? I have a 29srx prop running approx. 6500 rpm. Assume I have
done all of the setup as you suggested....setback, motor height etc. Do
you have another prop you could suggest before I end up with 5 props that
I can't use????? Looking to be in the 90's, or am I dreaming????? Phil, Randy
