Vantage XT Setup Randy, I have ended up with a 200 Promax on my Vantage XT and have 12 inch set back. I have a trophy 26 and a 27 SRX that I plan on trying and curious as to where to start out with the propshaft height with this setback? The gear ratio is 1 87 with a Sportmaster lower unit. Which prop do you think will do the best? Thanks Chuck Chuck, That
is about 4 -5 inches of setback more than I would call ideal. The boat
will have a squatting problem coming on and off plane, but start with the
prop shaft 1“ below at 0 degrees trim. The SRX will be the most fun, but
you will need to have the leading edge rolled to get it up on plane in any
fashion.
