Vector steering Randy,
I recently purchased a 84 vector with a Merc 200 with a jack plate ect.. I
am slowly but surely learning to control the chinewalk thanks to your
advice given to another member. However the dual cable steering setup is
tough to handle both at high and low speed. It appears to be working
correctly but it steers so hard it is hard to respond to the chinewalk and
the pond I live on is small so it requires constant turning. I would like
to replace it with hydraulic steering if that’s safe and you think it
would work better. So my question to you is it safe and do you recommend a
certain brand. Ryan,
