Vector Pad Randy, I
have been waiting all summer for the season to end so I can de-rig my
Vector, flip it and start building a quick bottom for it. I am looking for
any advice, input or pictures of what to do with this bottom. I am
currently running a 6" set back J-plate, Bob's lwp, on a 2.5
Merc with lots of work done to it in the lake racer class (only allowed
150 psi compression). I have just made many changes to my set up to
make this thing more comfortable to run and easier to drive. I am
planning on making all the edges sharp and flat but I was wondering if you
had any tricks on what to do on the pad? Should I make it concave
like on a V-king or keep it flat? If I do change the running pad how will
that change how I plane off and run the 1/4 mile and do I need to make any
big changes to the set up? Any
input is welcome, J.B. Randy
