Vegas XT Top End I
just bought an ‘87 Vegas XT w a 220 efi xri Laser by mercury (87 also) w
jackplate. Prop is a 28 in and total rig is stock. What kind of top end
speed can I expect with just myself in the boat.
Greg, I'll
assume the prop is a 28 chopper and say that you should expect mid 80's.
If the boat won't run but only the mid to high 70's the setup is just off.
Run the boat and get some baseline numbers. Then we can work on the
improvements.
